The Bare Necessities Summer 2019

It's 4.30am now and I am wide awake. Travel day was all smooth, until we got into Florida airspace. Had to circle around for 45 minutes as there were storms. When we did the descent the plane dropped a few times. Kids were crying, adults were screaming. It was like tower of terror with the drops. When we landed there was a round of applause. Phew!

POFQ is beautiful we are in building 4. Not neighbouring rooms, but both are ground floor. Mum and Dad are very close to the pool and food.

We jumped in the pool last night for an hour, then had dinner at the food court. In bed for 9.45pm I think we did well to keep going really.

I'm so excited as it's MK today

There are 10 t shirts, 6 pairs of shorts and 7 dresses in that little pile.

I think you are right, Dad probably does know more than Dave. I reckon Dave is a bit more relaxed about the plan as he's more than happy to take a back seat and let me do it and go with the flow.

The rooms were pretty good really, 2 bathrooms made getting ready a doddle in the morning.

Oh no can’t bear the thought of a turbulent flight 😧 so pleased you got there in one piece! I’d of been one of those people crying and screaming... you know the type... panic stricken! 😱 😂

8 and a half hours of the flight were fine, no problems. When we were approaching Florida the pilot said there were storms so we did a bit of circling for about 45 minutes. It was the descent that was honestly the dropping in your belly feeling is not good.

But you're right we're here and it's an MK day today first ride BTMR xx

Oh no, that was a bit of a yuck end to your flight 😳 it's that type of thing that makes me feel ill on a plane so my heart goes out to you all..but hey, now you are safe on Orlando soil and ready to enjoy WDW! 😁👍

Glad you are there safely, I wouldn’t have enjoyed the sudden drops!

Glad you got there safely, despite the turbulence. Those kind of drops are not nice, very scary.

We had a fab first day in MK, really good weather too, hot of course but no rain today. It's cloudy now and we are just chilling out in the room before heading to DS.

It has been quite a long first day, we were in MK from 8am even though the park didn't open until 9am. Mum and Dad got their first visit badges and wore them the whole day it was fab!
