Taking food and drink into hotel (Newport Bay)

Just a few weeks now until our first trip to DLP, staying at Newport Bay. Are we able to take food and drink (inc. perhaps a bottle of wine) into the hotel? We are driving and so would entering direct from the car park. Not entirely clear if our things will be subject to inspection or if that is only going into the Village or Parks. Any help gratefully received.

Yes thats fine, your bags do go through an airport style scanner before check in but they're not checking for liquids 😉

We take drinks and snacks in, including wine!

Yes, you should be absolutely fine. We took food, drinks and even our own mini fridge into our Disney hotel! (We were heading to La Croix de Vieux Pont campsite straight after, so we had all our camping stuff with us!)

We always buy wine from the shop in the station and take it in to Newport Bay Club. You have to get the bus though as I don’t think you’d be able to take it through the village to walk back via the lake. But you are driving, so won’t be an issue at all.
