I used to love his trip reports, especially of his visits to Cornwall. He always had a way of allowing me to see places through fresh eyes.

I know people have asked how Darrin is and myself and another Dibber have been in contact with him.

However, I nattered to him yesterday and he is doing well and has Family arriving to see him for the Easter period so he is not on his own.

Even though it has been a difficult year for him he has maintained his wicked sense of humour and it was really nice to speak to him.

A sad anniversary but others will also be in equally challenging situations. As we all know though, life has to go on and these things serve to remind us we have to embrace every day and live life to the full.

Darrin. I know you will be raising a glass in his memory today and my Wife and I will be joining you in a similar fashion. Take care.

I can't believe it's been a year and I can still remember the shock when I read the post informing us of Geoff's passing.
Thinking of Darrin and both families today

I remember reading the post last year and giving an audible and shocked 'no'! He was such a huge, huge part of the Dibb. We never met outside of the forum, but we shared a huge love of Star Trek and exchanged a few PMs on the subject.

I will share the same quote I did from TNG on that thread:
