Mobile Extra night, new hotel needed

We are going to DLP in October half term and booked to stay in Sequoia Lodge. Due to flight times, we are now staying an extra night. Thinking of the Kyriad on-site or the Val d’Europe. We will have tickets for the day but not the flight day so would the Kyriad be easier? How would we transfer baggage between the 2 hotels? Is that then easy to get from Kyriad to train station? Or should we just leave baggage at Sequoia and transfer to Val d’Europe after our day in the parks? Any advice gratefully received. Thanks x

Can I just clarify - are you saying your flight arrives in France on the day you can check into the Sequoia Lodge, and its the end of your trip you need an extra night's hotel for?

Kyriad is not onsite. The cheapest onsite will be Santa Fe.

Why not look at a hotel in the Val d’Europe area such as the Ibis or Hipark? It is only one stop on the RER, takes five minutes and you don’t have to push and shove onto a crowded bus.

Or what about a hotel at the airport? There are several I believe.

its easy to transfer, personally I would go for the Kyriad, B&B hotel, Dream Castle, Magic Circus, or Explorers for my last night. These are all together in a row, situated at the end of the road where the onsite hotels (Santa Fe) begin. I would check out of the Sequoia Lodge, leave my bags there in their luggage store, head to the parks on my last park day until I'd had my fill, then back to the Sequoia Lodge, pick up my bags, Uber to my last-night hotel (its about a 5-minute drive ). Then you can check in, relax, get a good nights sleep, and maybe have a wander in the Village the following morning, before heading off to the airport to catch your flight home.

Its also worth checking the room-only price for the Santa Fe or Cheyenne, depending on time of year etc you can get some good bargains.

We are doing this in a few weeks as our easyJet flight times are rubbish. We’re staying at the B&B at DLP on arrival day (arrive after 7pm) so just gonna take the bus over to Disney Village for dinner & early night. Then head over To Newport Bay for 7.30 am then head to parks. Our B&B hotel is £75 for the 4 if us so it makes sense to do this!

This is what we do now every trip...
Drive down spend the night at an offsite and then last day so we get full use of our tickets and its a more chilled and relaxed start and end to the holiday
We stopped at the Kyriad last time and was a great hotel for what we paid and had a shuttle to the village so used that to go back and to to the village at the night and the next morning with no problems
Also stayed at the Explorers and this one had a fun pool that we enjoyed
would defiantly recommend both

We are doing this in November and had the Cheyenne booked for £79 for 4 but decided to change to Sequoia Lodge for the night to save any hassle the next morning. The price was £119 for 4 of us for the night which to save packing/unpacking/transferring we felt was worth it for us. Hoping to contact the hotel a week before and request the bookings to be linked so we don’t have to change rooms

This is exactly what we do to get the most out of our holiday (driving from the north of England). Cheap hotel first night (usually B&B) then take luggage to Disney hotel, check in and leave luggage until we get back after out first park day. On our last day, we leave luggage at the on-site hotel, stay in the parks until closing, then go back to collect luggage and move on to our next hotel. It does mean a very late check-in, but we don’t have much to pack away in the morning, so can have a lie in before setting off home.

We’ve also stayed in Explorers for a last night, and my children loved the pool.

We have decided to stay in the Val d’Europe on the last day. Plan is to leave the luggage at the hotel and then collect and get the train. It will give us a day around the shopping area the next day before the flight home. Thanks for all of your suggestions!
