Too late for oct/nov 2019 bargain?
Hey all,
After much deliberation with my partner as to where to travel for my 30th birthday Florida has won. We would prefer to go October or November - any recommendations as to what would be quieter? And Are we too late to get a bargain for this year (I'm seeing lots of deals on Virgin website but all for 2020)? Hoping to stay on site Disney with 2 nights at universal! |

TUI usually do good last minute bargains. They have a multi-centre section of their website which should help with your split stay. 😊

Not sure where you fly from but last time I looked into it TUI didn’t fly to Orlando in November, could have changed though.
We booked with Virgin 4 weeks ago for late nov/early dec and got a decent price. £1828 for party of 4, fly drive with std SUV, fully inclusive insurance and flights from Manchester. These were with Virgin. If your looking for a fly drive check plus.virginatlantic.com - we found the price was about £200 cheaper there compared with virgin holidays website.

I was amazed at how cheap the Thomas Cook last minute deals are at the moment. 2 weeks flights and accommodation for £500 pp! There were quite a few dates

If you are able to avoid half-term I'd say it's far too early for a bargain, not too late.
And even if you have to go at half-term, I'd still suggest it's not too late. We went over the February half-term week earlier this year, and we could only go Saturday - Saturday, booking up less than a week before we went. I quite fancy going for the October half-term but I won't start looking until September. |

Have a look at BA, you can sometimes get good deals on flights, especially if you book a hire car with them at the same time.
I don’t use them for accommodation though, never can find the right place at the right price. |

I’ve been looking at end November for this year as a pointer for next year.
Looking at Club world, but yesterday I’m seeing lower prices for that tine of tge year than last month. Have a look at fly drive on the BA web site |

The first 2 weeks of October will probably be the cheapest as far as I am aware there are no US holidays and the UK/European schools are all back in the swing of things.
