Acro for visa

Ok, a friend of a friend was denied entry to the USA. He has his visa appointment in a few days and needs an ACRO.
I have no idea what this is or how to obtain it. They’ve reached out to me because obviously we go all the time.
What is an acro and how does he get it?

What else will he need for his visa appt?

An ACRO is a police report.

Around 6to 8 weeks is normal wait time loads of info online how to apply think they habe left it way to late

He can pay £80 for a 2 day premium service but would still have to wait for it to arrive in the post. They are mailed out 1st class.

Is he able to push back his interview? They are usually pretty good with rescheduling or offering an alternative date. It's better that he goes with everything he needs.

If I'm honest its someone that my husband knows, I don't know him. He asked my husband about it because we go to the US alot. x
