Sharing DDP Credits

Hi - wondering if anyone has experience of trying this. We are travelling as a party across two rooms so separate reservations but hoping to link them on MDE.
If one room upgrades the Dining Plan and has more TS credits (or one room just uses less TS credits) could we then use the spare/extra credits for both rooms to eat a meal or two together?
Or are you only allowed to eat a TS meal using your own rooms credits?

Hi once you have the credits you use them as you like. You will find tales of people just using credit for other people in queues in quick service etc.

You can spend the credits as you like, on a stranger if you wished. What you would need to do is keep an eye on when you spend the deluxe TS credits and when you spend the regular TS credits as the deluxe credits allow for appetisers whilst the other rooms TS credits do not.

We have done this twice.
You can use MDE to check the credits left and also they will give you a total on your receipt.

This will give us more flexibility and let us use the Dining Credits to better suit us.
Claudette - Thanks for the reminder that the Deluxe Plan includes a starter. We will make sure we use standard TS credit for breakfasts.

Just a reminder, you don't pool credits though so if for instance you used all your room credits first, you can't use the other room's unless one of them is there IYKWIM
