My thoughts after the last 2 days

We've spent the last 2 days at DLP celebrating my wife's 50th birthday.

If you are planning a trip my view is to wait until next year. There is too much refurbishment and many attraction closures. Wait until it's all done for the 25th anniversary.

Overall we enjoyed our 2 days. The highlight was a meal in Blue Lagoon and the New Mickey and the Magician show. The updated Disney Dreams was great as was the car stunt show. The Halloween decorations were impressive.

On the down side service was very slow. ratatouille kept breaking down. The closures made fast passes worthless as they ran out early. Lunch and snacks took ages to buy due to few staff and closed counters. We love the parks but it all seamed chaotic this time mainly due to closures and fewer cast members.

We've been to Disneyland Paris at least 10 times since 2000 and we've never felt so frustrated.

Pleased to hear you enjoyed your wife's birthday trip in the main . I have been to DLP in a major refurb time (before the 20th anniversary) and it did put me off going at a similar time again.
