Flight socks
Hi everyone, I'm after some advice please on best make/type of compression socks. And where to get them?
I suffered from serious leg pain and swelling last time i flew to Florida. Any other tips to prevent it happening again this time round would be greatful too. Thanks🛫 |

Boots usually do a good range- take a tape measure with you as sizing can depend on your calf +/or ankle size. The pharmacist may also be able to give u some advice...if u have suffered badly with pain/swelling it might be good to get your GP to check your circulation out as this symptom can sometimes be an indicator of other health issues. If u google anti-DVT exercises or go to the NHS website u will get a better idea of how to manage & what preventative exercises u can do. worth doing some specific exercises & general walking in the lead up to the holiday as well as this will help to improve your muscle power in your legs which then will act as a pump to get rid of swelling.

DD bought Infinity Compression socks from Amazon. Fun styles to choose from and they worked far better than the ones we've had from the pharmacy in the past. DD has joint hypermobility so her joints swell when flying - the Infinity socks completely prevented swelling and were comfy to wear
