Jedi Academy
Hi all,
I've read the hints and tips and I'm now panicking we'll not get my son into Jedi Academy. He will be destroyed if that's the case as he's a Star Wars fanatic (at 5! I've only got myself to blame). HS is our first park and so we'll need to collect our tickets first. Is it worthwhile making a trip on my own the night before to get the tickets and do a recce to avoid any unnecessary delays in the morning? What's everyone's experiences with this? Anyone been unable to get on? Thanks in advance |

We did Jedi Academy with our three boys in July 2014. We got there for rope drop and there was already a big crowd heading over to sign up. Our three are also massive Star Wars fans and we decided to sacrifice that precious first hour in the parks to make sure they got in. We got the show around 11.30.
If you could get the tickets the previous evening, I reckon it would be worth it. Also, will you have another day at HS? We found that Jedi Academy was well worth it but does heavily impact your day and you may need to rearrange any fast passes as you do not know which show you will get. We did not manage to see everything we wanted in one day. One final bit - it is quite intense for younger children, and my 4 year old was doing fine until Darth Vader appeared, then that was it! |

Thanks for the reply CherryH,
We were only planning on having one day at HS but we've planned a couple of rest days and a day to revisit a park later in the holiday so if need be we could always pop back to HS I've already booked the Fastpasses for the day as I was hoping we could book Jedi Academy around these. If we need to cancel these and go back another day I'd rather do that than him miss out. Definitely seems like it'll be worthwhile visiting the day before to pick up the tickets...might even stop for the fireworks...every cloud Thanks again |
