I knew my Prime membership was due for renewal last weekend. Wanted to renew but also wanted to pay using my Amex to get the miles so went onto Amazon to change default card.

Noticed today when I logged into one of the other cards that Amazon had used the wrong card to renew so phoned them up. The apologised, refunded the money and gave me prime free for the year!

I hadn't asked for anything just wanted to reverse the payment and then pay using the correct card.

Mind you I just checked and have spent just short of £1000 with them past 3 months which tells me two things. Firstly I do enjoy the next day delivery and secondly I need to cut back.

I find There customer service excellent ! Replaced a 7 month old air bed that the kid broke. And a few xmas pressies that were not perfect. Also saves me keeping receipts !

I have found them really good - when we have had issues they not only refund me the amount I paid but have told me not to arrange the return of the item just keep it!

Amazon Spain is very good too, we don’t get next day delivery as we are too rural.

Last week I ordered two Fitbit type watches. Didn’t arrive within a week. Amazon gave me six months prime free.

We had an Amazon parcel dumped on our doorstep by a courier that was for the totally wrong address. Emailed Amazon and was told 'keep it we'll send them another'. I guess they just don't care about small costs as they are such a giant company?

Was hoping for a PS4 but when I opened it it was a pink karaoke machine.
