Which Year ?
Hello Everyone
Not posted for a long while, but those thoughts are in my head again ! Now because of my children's ages, and important times at school, we now are down to August or not at all. I know we are talking a few years away, but, here is my question ? 2021 is 50th celebration (Nov, specifically start) Guardians/Tron and more, supposed to be open for then. But, if they are finished before that date (is this likely ?) I can't see Disney not opening them. I am asking those of you that know, what are Disney like with timescales ? I understood they are usually not too good. But for example, if Trons building permit was to the 16/08/21, does that mean they will likely complete weeks/months before, and then dress inside, or that that date is building finished, but then needs inside ready for 50th. Same for Guardians really. It's just that really we are looking at Aug 2021. Not bothered about the 50th celebrations in the slightest. Parties, fireworks, events, whatever, not bothered, but if the biggest building plans in decades, and new rides, are a few weeks the other side of planned dates, then that's a game changer ! "Never do tomorrow what you can do today. Procrastination is the thief of time.” At that point, why not wait until 2022 when the crowds die down from the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration in 2021? Or wait until 2023 when the next big thing opens. And so on, as Mr Bricker said. But if it is likely to be that close, it may be worth putting it off off till August 2022 ? Thoughts appreciated. Construction, refurbs and maintenance happen continuously. If you put off until 2021 they’ll be something else down or not yet fully built you might have wanted.

It's impossible to predict Disney's proposed timescales. One thing's for sure though - they almost never finish early.
Like the previous poster said, if you wait until the "next big thing" is for certain open, there will always be another big thing ready next year...
