Who else doesn't lke rides?
I've only been to Florida once, am hoping to go again next yr.
Just wondered how many people paid the money to get in the theme parks but doesn't go on any rides. Do you still think the entertainment etc.. is worth the money?

Loads more to do than just rides (but I do love them!). I love the shows - Philharmagic, Animal Planet, Indiana Jones etc etc., but my fave is just people watching! My fave spot is by the yellow and white stripey umbrellas and seats by the Castle and on a 'stoop' at Universal by The Mummy.

I only do the very tame rides! But when I go in Dec I'm going to try and do splash mountain. However by the time I get there I might just change my mind.

Seriously though, I'm a big coward as well, I don't like any of the 'big' rides - now, put me on It's a Small World and I'm as happy as larry |

I have been frightened of rides all my life, went first two times and didn't go on much, then when I wanted to go third time around my partner said only if you go on the Hulk can you go back to Florida.
Well I did it, and my God what have I been missing, I love them now, go on the biggest one you can find with little or no queue and you will conquer your fear and end up enjoying the less scary ones more. |

I don't mind the rides but wouldn't go on anything too fast and things that go upside down. But love the shows and parades.

Hi Cath
(miss-sixty on UKS here ) I don't like scary rides. I'll go on lots of things, but definitely won't go on anything that goes upside down. I'm sure we'll get our money's worth regardless
