Daughter in law has got her wish

That's good news.
I had my second baby at home 42 years ago!
It was so much better than being in hospital like I was with my first ...more relaxed and family around you.
I felt lucky at the time as it was the 70s when they were pushing all the time for hospital births.

That’s good , my new step grand daughter was born in hospital this week , it’s definitely an extra layer of worry at the moment . She was early but over 7lbs and Mum and baby both fine so they got a very fast discharge thankfully.

Oh that's lovely,had my 8th baby at home,was very relaxed,had him around 3 hours after first contractions, was cuddled up with him and midwife left when he was about 3 hours old!.All done and dusted overnight, he was born at midnight,so my older ones woke up to a surprise

Good news! I was 6 hours from first pain to delivery with my 1st and 1 hour 20 mins from twinge to delivery of my 2nd. Hope all goes well for her x
