I last went in 2015 with my mum & siblings, and I'm going 2020 - my first trip as a proper grown up! I doubt I'll go again in the next decade as my husband and I don't earn much. This is a special trip we've saved for, celebrating a wedding anniversary (we didn't have a honeymoon). There's always the hope of suddenly coming into money and being able to go again though, haha.

Not every trip to Florida ... with a small child it was a given but nowadays there is so much else we enjoy that Orlando has become very optional on Florida trips.

We are only planning to go twice in the next 10 years or so. Love Florida but there’s so much more of the world to explore! Plus for the price of Florida we can go to any other US state twice, so we are ticking Florida off twice for our children mostly, but want to show them so many other places.

Same here. Hoping to go once when they're young (next year hopefully if not the one after) and again when they're all tall enough for the big rides I agree its very expensive if you want to do all the parks like we do.

Holiday of a lifetime
Its interesting to read how many families are lucky enough to get to Florida once or even twice a year. Personally I would not enjoy Florida so much if we went every year. Does it ever get "samey"?
We will be going for our fifth time next year since our first trip in 1999. The wow factor has never been the same since the first trip and we honestly thought we may never go again due to the cost. It is still an awsome place to visit especially with kids and next year we will be going with our children and 5 grand children. Its the first time for the grand children so we expect some special moments and hope that they get the wow factor we felt back in 99. It takes us 18 months to save for a holiday like this so would never be able to do it every year. That said we have had some very happy family holidays in Greece at a fraction of the cost of Florida.
