Ultimate Tickets if we can't go?

Hi,

Looking to use my DVC points for a stay this May, for my son and his friends.

I normally buy the 14 day ultimate ticket here in the UK, and link this to my reservation, so that I can book fast-passes in advance.

If I were to do this, and then for some reason (virus) he can't go on the holiday, can anybody confirm if the tickets can then be held until he does manage to go, or are the technically used and unrefundable?

I did ring Disney 0800 number by wait was over 30 minutes.

Hoping you guys can help?

If you buy 2020 tickets then they must be used for the first time at any park by December 31, 2020. They expire after the end of 2020.

You can contact Disney and they may amend the 2020 ticket to a 2021 ticket, which must be used in 2021. This may require an additional charge due to the increase in price.

So if he delays his holiday to later this year then he doesn't need to do anything. If he delays it to next year then he'll have to contact Disney and see if they can swap the tickets for 2021 ones.
