All set to work from home now

I do have to go into the office a couple of days next week but after that should be fully working from home. DH is working from.home as from this afternoon. I'm glad we didn't downsize our house now as he has the office and I've got the dining room. It'll be nice to be around one another on our breaks, and to understand each other's jobs more. I hope wfh becomes the future when all this is over.

I�m hoping to be doing this soon too, we have a lot of staff and they are testing the system slowly (too slowly for my liking!) but my department isn�t as essential as some other areas of the business so I will be at the end of the queue. I�ve taken this week and next week off as holiday tho so I don�t need to go in.

I will need a laptop, so I�ve been Looking on eBay for refurbed ones, in the last few days they have either sold out at some places, not taking orders for another month, or hiking the prices up! I guess there is more demand now the schools are out and people want them for wfh.

I'm still in isolation but my work are dropping my equipment off start of next week. We were not ready for home working so the company has worked hard to make it possible. All the at risk people have already gone home now. And the rest will be next week. I'm sad that I might see my colleagues for a while but it's the best way of fighting this virus x
