How many calories in that burger , totally worth it though
The food on the return flight is never as good as the way out, especially the breakfast!
As always a brilliant report Amanda, will you be doing a full one as well?

Disappointing plane food - the breakfasts are always particularly bad for some unknown reason. At least your curry was edible and they kept you hydrated. It's probably as good as could be expected on a return flight!

Great food report as always Amanda, thank you for sharing - I'll look forward to the main trippie
It’s a new menu Lynda. My biggest problem was which pie to have
Andy declined pie .. the shame
Breakfast is rubbish isn’t it. That melon was almost frozen it was so called and it just has no taste. I’d rather have had biscuits with coffee or a plain croissant.
Thank you for reading along

Yeah , I know , so few cocktail opportunities too as we were so busy

Plane food coming home is always a disappointment mind you I cant often eat a breakfast when they serve it!

Glad you had a short but productive week - look forward to the full trippy x

Diane
Thank you x Yes I wasn’t wildly hungry but I hate food waste ... wha do they do with it all afterwards I wonder espcailly the sealed yoghurts, I can’t bear to think they bin them
Trippy will be a bit dull I think .. I may have to do an express version

Ha ha, I avoided looking at the calories. I haven’t tried the scales since we got back I will do a trippy of some sorts. It will be “different” that’s for sure Thank you for reading

HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS EXISTED

Cracking report Amanda. Funnily enough your first two food choices exactly matched our November trip (Nicholas Culpepper then Sonoma the next day). Unsurprisingly the flight food also matched

How are you ? I’m so sad for NOLA in these crazy times, it looks like it could be hit really hard

I think there’s a lot of criticism that Mardi Gras went ahead and they seem to think that has contributed to the high levels there

I consider us exceptionally fortunate to have missed the Flybe demise by a few days and not having our NOLA trip impacted at all. Ten days after we got home it became clear the world was changing
