Ok, so a bit of a planning update:

I've spent the last couple of days resisting the urge to look at delicious food on Instagram and get my butt in gear and actually plan some things for us to do on this trip. Rich hasn't given me any ideas of things he wants to see/do this time. So I'm going to surprise him and not let him know anything!

Saturday
Drive up to Heathrow and stay at PI Bath Rd.
I haven't booked it yet but I will get the meal deal for both of us.

Sunday
Breakfast at PI. Drive to NCP flightpath and drop off car. Catch bus to T3. Check in/No1 Lounge etc. Flight to NY lands at 3.45pm. I have a couple of local(to our hotel) restaurants I have in mind. Maybe take a walk up 9th Ave for a few drinks and across to Time Square and back to the hotel.

Monday
As we will be up early, I was thinking of taking the subway to Fulton St and walk to George's for breakfast, stopping at the Charging Bull/ Wall St. Then on to Staten Island Ferry to see Lady Liberty and back. Then on to Century 21 before subway back to Port Authority. We have Ziggy's tour of Hell's Kitchen booked for 2pm. It finishes approx 6pm. So either back to hotel to relax or out for drinks/dinner(Hoping Ziggy will recommend a few places).

Tuesday
Possibly pencil in Jersey Garden Mall(Cinnabon and Auntie Anne are on my food list here, although there is an Ihop but it's across a very big carpark). Looking forward to going to Bath and Body Works as I have no hand soaps left and I NEED some more wallflowers! This is an all day plan. Then out for dinner/drinks 9th/10th Ave in the evening.

Wednesday
Hoping we can walk Brooklyn Bridge in the morning. I would like to ride Jane's carousel. Maybe take in a slice of Brooklyn pizza? Before heading back towards our hotel. Early dinner at possibly Brother Jimmy's BBQ, 8th Ave. I have bought tickets for the Knicks game which starts at 7,30pm. (I haven't told Rich I have bought them yet He is a big Basketball fan).

Thursday
Our last day. Our flight doesn't take off until 8pm so we have almost a whole day. Maybe a trip to the Cheesecake Factory in the mall in Queens?

As I say these are rough plans at the moment.

Quick little update...

Just finished the packing. Not long until we drop the boys at their Nanny's and we are off to the Premier Inn on Bath Rd. I'm starting to get a bit excited now!

Thank you. I've been checking the forecast and there's a possibility of snow on Tuesday. That's the day i have planned for Jersey Garden Mall which is indoors. Glad the wind has dropped as I wouldn't want to take off in it!

Thank you, I will let you know what the weather is like. It's supposed to be max 7deg and risk of snow Tuesday. Thermals are packed and Timberland type boots for pounding the streets. Bring on the pretzels and pizza!
