Claiming refund, Just arrived home today

I had Two bookings with TC, The first was to Cuba of which I arrived back into Gatwick today on a repatriation flight.
We was the last Thomas Cook flight out on the Sunday, Arrived in Cuba only hours later to be told TC had gone bust.
Because of this, The hotel started to demand money from us all, We had know rep in hotel, My Daughter called the British embassy for us in Cuba and got a British consulate to our resort to help us.
Our resort was told they would receive mony from ATOL and we was allowed to stay.
But they practically closed the resort down. The closed all Al a Carte restaurants, Closed the beach bar, Stopped filling mini bar in rooms, Told us we could not have certain drinks, Stopped all entertainment, We could not wait to get home, We also paid for premium seat with TC but the plane they flew us home in only had economy seats. No entertainment or drinks. Just a basic flight home,
Does anyone know if we are able to claim anything back and if so what route we would take.

I also have Disney booked next year with TC, I have been paying through DD, Do I recall the payments through the bank or do I claim from ATOL.

I live in Devon so had a long trip back after landing this morning, So thought I would ask on here before I start making calls tomorrow morning.

Just also want to say, My heart goes out to everyone who missed out on there holidays and to all those having to go through this.

Did you pay on a credit card?

Did you have holiday insurance?

Found this on the CAA website as for Premium cabins, these are for people who had to book their own flights home but would assume it would apply to the repatriation flights as well:
We understand that you may have arranged or paid for extras or upgrades as part of your original booking with Thomas Cook such as a premium seat or particular meal. Unfortunately, as the repatriation programme is focused on getting you back to the UK as efficiently as possible, we cannot commit to honouring these and you will not be able to claim a refund on this cost.
As for refunds, if you are ATOL protected, paid with Direct Debit and were due to be on TC flights your refund will be done automatically this week. If you paid a deposit on a card you will need to claim this back separately on the CAA website.
