My youngest wasn’t born early but at 3 weeks got bronchiolitis and was in intensive care and intubated for nearly a week. We really thought we were going to lose her but she’s now a fighting fit 6 year old (fingers crossed) and the only thing from that time other than my inability to walk past the hospital without crying is an occasional bad chest. Don’t underestimate how strong these babies can be and also how amazing the medical care is, lots of positive thoughts and prayers for you all.
