Moonlight Magic Resorts

Im sure ive seen it spoken about before but i cant find anything specific, so i want to double check before i change any bookings!

We are currently booked to stay at AKL in September and hope to bag some tickets for HWS moonlight magic. My girls dream Disney hotel is AoA and it isnt too badly priced just now. If i changed to there, does it still qualify for booking on the first available date. I think it does but as i say, want to check.

It took a lot of stress trying to get the value studio too.

I'm pretty sure you can still book on the first night as you're a DVC member and you have a room on property. That said, it was a huge score getting that Value Animal Kingdom room, it would be a shame to give it up. Best of luck!

As previuosly stated, you're giving up a hard to book room, why not stay with AKV and just book a night at AoA.

Anyway, checked out the webiste at disneyvacationclub.disney.go...onlight-magic/ where it states:-

You just need to have a room booked, for first tranche, we were at Wilderness on a cash booking prior to moving to our DVC. Also looking for the HS one, didn't think much to the one at TL..way way too busy !

There would be more chance of me saying Bob Iger is underpaid than giving up that AK room.

I bent over backwards for our Children when they were young and now for the Granddaughter. However there needs to be a line drawn over certain things in my view and accommodation is one of them.

Best of luck in your decision making.

I have seen the light and AKL it is!

I am a sucker and just love to see my not so wee girls eyes light up, i think thats why we love WDW so much, its kept them young and they haven't succumbed to make up and clothes like their other friends.

I think we will go with a mermaid class instead!
