Is there such as thing as a villa near a pub / shops you can walk to

So, we have stayed in Florida many times and always find the villas to be a way from any form of centre, yes I know that is the way out there and you can grab a cab.

so for those that like to walk to places to eat & drink does such a thing exist?

our perfect accommodation is a private villa & pool so everyone can chill

Highland Reserve you can walk to Berry Town Centre.

High Grove at end of the 192 where it joins the 27 isn’t too far from some. Pub almost on site.

You can walk to Berry town centre, couple of bars plus Applebee’s and IHOP. Chinese takeaway and pizza . We stay here on all our trips and it’s nice occasionally to leave the car and walk.

Yes I agree with this. We stayed at the northern end of the resort and it was about a 10 minute walk from Berry Town Centre which has a bar, Applebee’s, IHOP, Publix and a few more places. It was lovely to be able to walk to Applebee’s so DH could have a beer with his meal.

Some villas in Highlands Reserve are within safe walking distance of Berry Town Center using the side entrance on Sand Mine Road. Berry Town Center has several restaurants including Applebee's, I-Hop, Mia-Pizza, two bars and a very good Chinese takeaway as well as a Publix supermarket.

Please be aware though that Highlands Reserve is a very spread out community as the villas are arranged around a golf course, so if being able to walk to the restaurants is important to you, you will need to be careful to rent one in the right location.

We booked Highlands Reserve for this very reason, staying up the north end on Higher Combe Drive. If you search the map you can see dibb villas nearest Berry Town Center

Southern Dunes has 24 hr Walmart outside the gates which is walking distance plus a Winn Dixie and it is possible to walk down to Manny’s. The clubhouse is also open for breakfast and lunch and dinner one day of the week.
