Shall we go, or not? A last minute trip! Day 2
24 Feb
This morning we got up around 0800 and had breakfast in the hotel. We both decided on the buffet option as ordering individual items off the menu appeared more expensive once drinks were added. Total cost was $55 including tip. We spent most of the day at / by the pool! After lots of sun and water we were headed back to Disney Springs for dinner at STK. We chose this instead of going to Yachtsman for a change. We both had steaks (Ribeye and Flat Iron) and we shared 2 sides (mac n cheese and truffle fries). Sorry for a couple of blurry photos! Rob had a cookie thing for dessert and I had a strawberry sundae. Total cost $181 with tip after DVC discount, which honestly felt expensive (and I know all Disney dining tends to be anyway). We enjoyed the meal but felt Yachtsman (and even Le Cellier) offered a better overall experience. We were somewhat disappointed with the whole experience - the restaurant just didn't feel that special and whilst the service was fine some of the staff seemed more interested in chatting than working!

Wow that sundae! What a shame it didn’t live up to expectations - always nice to read of somewhere a bit different to the usual places.

Yep, we were disappointed too. Found a great place near home though. Had a fab meal last week which cost under £75!

Holy Moly that was an expensive meal! I can’t understand why they can’t serve steak with vegetables or another side? Pool time sounds lovely

It was expensive, and I’m not really sure why sides aren’t included either...
Pool time was fab

I know...! We'll know better for next time - back to Yachtsman (which is still expensive but not as bad!)
