Yes we did ours, and then saw the notice from the council, saying they are suspending collection of brown bins for the foreseeable, only collecting black bins, as they have to prioritise in these difficult times. These decisions have to be made

Will have to see if I can get some heavy duty bags but I fear they won’t be easy to come by here as everybody will be after them as so many use the green wheelie bins and they’ll all become full very quickly.
Thanks to my fantastic neighbour we’ve been able to cut the grass again today.

Green bin collections are cancelled and the tip is shut so my neighbour took our full green bin in his van to his building site and emptied into the skip. He’s building his own house so has access to the site and had empty skips delivered Monday so took our bin and his own before the lockdown started. What a star he is.

So pleased we’ll now be able to get a few cuts in before the bins full again.

Need to get onto our garden... need to pick up some petrol first.

Being allergic to grass, the face masks my wife bought will actually come in handy.

Did mine on Sunday. And sprayed some selective lawn weedkiller.
It is nice to get started as it is the sign spring is here.
