New tv for Disney plus - recommendations please

Hi. We are looking at getting a new tv, specifically so we can watch Disney plus on it. We have a Virgin tv box but can’t get the app on there. I have ordered a chrome cast and am hoping to move my older tv from the lounge up to our bedroom so we can watch everything up there and have a new tv downstairs, but I don’t want to buy the wrong thing. Can anyone advise what I need to look for or recommend a tv. Final requirement is not too expensive. Thanks.

LG and Samsung tvs have the Disney app.
We have a LG 43um7600 it's £360 in curry's and works really well for disney+ and amazon.
According to DH there are other models in the range that do the same.

Any new smart TV will.be able to show Disney+. If you get a 4k one then you can watch in 4k HD for an even better experience.at no extra cost.

We have a polaroid one from Asda. Quite cheap TVs but good quality. Disney+ works on it great

This is what I have done as we can’t get it on our TV. I know it’s not a priority to get delivered but looking forward to watching things on a bigger screen than my iPad!

Me too, our TV is too old, but it’s a cracking great big TV and we are too tight to change it, the fire stick works a treat

I will only buy a TV from Richer Sounds due to their excellent customer service and free extended warranty
They are currently closed due to the crisis but are still accepting online and phone orders.

I’m watching on a fire stick. It works well and they are cheap. You can also watch Netflix. Amazon prime and all the catchup services like iPlayer so well worth the investment. In my bedroom that’s all I have on my tv and it works well.
