That's my concern, we have 2 x 1 beds for 14 nights in August so are using all of '20 and a lot of '21 points, if the '21 points don't go back to their UY, we'll end up losing both years as chances of getting out by the end of the year will be really slim due to term times.

We have a trip booked for September. I’ve got a cash booking reserved in the background so that if we think it’s still looking dodgy we can cancel dvc and bank points within the banking window which will end in July.
It will cost us, it this way we may still be able to go and hang on to our points for next year, or maybe even let someone rent them...
We think this is a good option 🤞🤞

That Is what we did Helen, I could have waited until mid May before I lost them but , and I don’t know why, I phoned and cancelled on Wednesday

CM said oh someone will be very glad you have done that and released the points , which made me doubt what I had done, I went back in next day and loads availability so unsure what they are all thinking

I then cancelled our car hire and got a similar response, ... I can leave your booking open as things will be good soon

Are they seeing something over there that we aren’t

My brother lives in Texas so I messaged him for his thoughts and he said cancel

I had 70 points that I couldn’t bank so moved them to rci , valid for 2 years
