Esta question

Hi if an ESTA is valid until 2 weeks after we return it’s valid to travel Yes?
I’m thinking of a passport needing 6 months remaining time when returning from holiday. Hope this makes sense!
Thanks guys x

It's absolutely fine.
It only needs to be valid for the day you enter the USA.
Passport only needs to be valid for the duration of your trip.

First of all a UK (and dozens of other nations) passport does not heed 6 months grace. It only needs to be valid for the period of travel.

An ESTA is only approval to travel to the USA not to enter it. Therefore only needs to be valid on the date of travel.

99.99% of Dibbers can be relied upon to give accurate factual replies but just to put your mind at rest on the passport thing.

As others have said, the ESTA only needs to be valid on the day you travel out, it can expire the day after without any problem. Very annoying a few years ago to find that our daughter’s expired the day before we flew! (Just in case you’re wondering, I checked it when we booked the flights so not a last minute panic!)

At least you didn't wait until you got to check-in and she was told that she wouldn't be boarding the plane.
