Severe dry hair
Any recommendations for severe dry hair, I do have bleach highlights only to hide the grey and I have cut down the amount I have, it just my hair is so dry and has anyone used any good shampoo and conditioner, which will help. If you have any tips, I would love to hear. Thanks.

I too have very dry hair from going dark hair to highlighted to hide the grey! I’ve tried so many different shampoos and still haven’t found a great one yet but I’ve been using the Garnier Ultimate Bkends hair food 3 in 1 masks. I’ve just finished the banana & Shea one for dry hair and it’s brilliant! I use it as a conditioner and leave it on for 3-5 mins if I can and then use it when I’ve dried my hair as a leave in conditioner. I use it on the ends of my hair when it’s dry and it doesn’t make it greasy. I’ve just bought papaya & amla one for damaged hair so will see what that’s like but it’s the only thing I’ve found which helps the dryness.

Use Elasticizer by Phillip Kingsley. It will sort it, expensive but a little goes a long way and a tub lasts for years

My daughters are both swimmers so hair is damaged and my youngest has naturally thick curly hair that dries like straw. They both use argon oil products and have found they leave their hair silky. I use the conditioner due to colouring my hair and my hair is thick and it does work for us.

I use Elasticizer a couple of times a week but have just changed to Joico shampoo and conditioner and the difference is amazing. So much so that I don’t really need the Elasticizer anymore.

My hair became very dry and brittle after the babies so I now use OGX extra strength damage remedy coconut oil shampoo and conditioner. It’s AMAZING. You only need a tiny bit as well, last a long time. I got through 2 bottles in a year.

Olaplex no.3 treatment and olaplex oil is the only thing that made a difference to my bleached hair.
