used the app quite a bit before this all broke out, it was patchy. Crashed a few times losing all the scanned items. If i needed a check at the end, none of the staff could get there scanner to scan the barcode, so we had to rescan everything. I have gone back to using one of there own scanners

Ok. First the app. Useless. It wouldn’t work and kept freezing. Luckily I found one of the scanning guns which was fine. Asda itself was ok. They didn’t let too many in so it wasn’t too busy. No one one was following the arrows which was infuriating. Pretty stocked but no eggs and minimal baking stuff.

There is a similar app for Sainsbury’s as well. I was using them both before lockdown and find them both quick and useful. I don’t think Tesco has one but they do have hand held scanners in store.
