Child friendly Maldives resort
Would love to take ds9 to the Maldives, he has a huge interest in the ocean and would to take him there to snorkel and see an array of sea creatures, but is it suitable for a child? Any particular resorts to recommend? Would a week be long enough? Or any other ideas of destinations to visit to have a similar experience? Thanks

Kuramathi! Fab island for families
Emerald also a great island for families - but more on the pricey side .

Kuredu is brilliant. Though not sure I'd go for a week.
Some amazing snorkelling to be had in Egypt, and it's a much shorter journey, but The Maldives is pretty special.

Kuredu is definitely child friendly, I believe that since we went (kids were 6 & 13) they’ve even opened a kids club!
My 2 were always water babies, we’ve been to a few islands & they spent their time snorkeling with us then did their Open Water courses when they were older. More recently we were on Meedhuparu last year & Hiduranfushi in 2017, several happy kids on both. If yours are water babies they’ll love it

We went to kuramathi pre children & it was a beautiful island, would really love to go back to paradise & DH is desperate to take DS14 as they’re really into fishing, the sea & snorkeling - I’ve looked into it & sun island was recommended to me as child friendly, it’s just so expensive though but...one day we’ll Defi go back !
