Anybody else PIF for August? What are your plans?

We’ve recently PIF for 15 August sailing on Fantasy

Our plan was to wait for them to cancel to get fcc for next year but seeing all the cancellations on the Facebook group is worrying now.

Our PIF date is 17th May so I think we have until that date to move the reservation to next year with no penalties.

As I understand it once the PIF has passed we’d need them to cancel or we’d be subject to the usual t&cs and would forfeit some of the payment if we moved the reservation to next year.

I know we’re covered through our insurance if it goes ahead and we can’t get there.

I guess I just want to know what others are doing as the Facebook group is so full of cancellations if this sailing goes ahead it’ll be like the Marie Celeste

We are on that sailing and had already PiF so just waiting it out. We can't go next August and don't want to reschedule for sooner as no idea when things will be anywhere near normal and its a lot of money for a restricted experience. Just waiting for the cancellation now as can't see it sailing.

I read that if you just wanted a refund you could get that before 17th May, is that not the case?

Probably worth a call tomorrow.

We want to move to next August and have a hold on what we want.

Hoping for the fcc though.

I've just read my booking T&C's and it says we loose our deposit if I cancel now which is what I understood. I'll see if I can get through to check
