So annoyed at MS

As we had booked our stay for July using our 2019 points we contacted MS as we could not go as flights were cancelled and cruise cancelled.

MS advised that we would not lose these points as they were from 2020 allocation. So we cancelled the reservation for only to find that the points went back into our 2019 UY.

So just now Im so annoyed as I don't know what I can do and don't want to lose 150 points

It does take a few days befor they go back to the original uy

They are supposed to go back to their original use year. I had 125 points go back to my 2021 use year but the last 75 haven�t gone back and it�s been several weeks now. I am calling them next week to have this rectified. I need to book a room for January (7 month window is Monday) so I want to do that before I have any more points moved back.

It took 13 days for my points to move back to my 2021 use year. I�ve read that if you need to make a booking you can ring Member Services and they will do it for you manually.

I rang them up to cancel my July bookings and jiggle the points all around so I was using only 2020 points for my Xmas booking and the borrowed ones were all sent back. They did it all on the phone but it took an hour in total including 15 mins to connect. Good service though.

I tried for over 3hrs last night to get no answer other than automated voice. Going to try at 2pm UK time for their opening. Hopefully be more successful

This happened to me and i rang them up and a lady checked and it was just taking time.
I was worried and just wanted to see them back in the correct use year.
I checked everyday and lo and behold they went back into use year a few days later

I can honestly say that MS have been nothing but excellent throughout my 10 years with DVC

With the announcement yesterday of opening, last night was not the time to be calling- I would wait until after the weekend.

Tried to ring yesterday evening, hopeless. 2st time connected, then after all the blurb, line went dead! Live chat was supposed to be available but not! Will try next week!
