You should get a puppy pack when you pick her up...that normally contains the food that she is already on, at least a few days worth...

This is Sox
She is a Lab x collie cross which my daughter and partner got the Sunday before full lockdown. They had been planning a puppy for ages

I sent my daughter a photo of your pup( she lives away in Lancashire) so I’ve only seen photos of her
She couldn’t believe how similar both pups are even to the little bit of white on the chin

Your daughters pup looks stunning, i bet she is having so much fun with the pup!

We saw pics of the litter that remained available and also videos of all the litter. The mum was a brown lab and the dad a black / brown / white collie. She had 3 brown pups, and the other 5 were almost identical. Black with similar chest patch and the odd white tip on the paw.

Just have to keep waiting till we can pick her up!

My daughters puppy Mum was a black lab and Dad was an all black lab x collie cross
The family owned both dogs, so it was an unintended encounter resulting in 8 pups.
DD lives in Lancashire & I’m in Essex.
Think Sox had a bit of an interesting start. The family were feeding all of the dogs including the puppies Wag adult dog food and when daughter went to see her to decide before getting a puppy the owners had put a casserole dish of cows milk in the centre for all of the puppies to drink from.
DD has grown up with dogs as we always had them when growing up. We had 2 cocker spaniels, a Dalmatian and we now have a husky xGSD at present, so she rang to check that that was a usual puppy diet.
When she had collected her and we were talking on the phone I was reminiscing about how lovely’ new puppy smell’ was to which DD replied that Sox smelt of a deep fat fryer.
She had her first bath shortly after moving in - she also had dandruff type flakes on her fur. They have now got her on proper puppy food ( not sure which one but it’s grain free), and now drinking water. They had to dilute milk down over several days until pure water as for the first few days she wouldn’t touch water alone.
She now has a lovely glossy coat and is growing well

Juat over 6 weeks now. So currently hoping to pick up 2 weeks time. Not too worried if it ends up 3 weeks, so 9 on collection, but don't want it to be past that as need to get her home and start getting her used to the environment, cars, noises, people etc while it is still in that puppy learning phase.

Have you named her yet? If so, get the breeder to start calling her by it, so she gets used to it.
