If I wanted to make a booking now for August and ended up needing to cancel, am I right in saying it will be the £20 fee?

That is OK with me, I just don't want it to be non refundable.

For new bookings yes it would be the £20 fee but the 48 hour rule still exists so if you cancel less than that 48 hours the fee is high!

Pre Covid bookings don't have the £20 fee.

Their FAQ's give a fuller explanation.

That’s good news. We’re waiting to see what happens with EasyJet, so nice to know if/ when we cancel car hire we’ll get all our money back.

Thanks.

To me this sounds like a desperate attempt to hold on to your cash.

Just a warning but maybe they're in financial difficulty and if they go under (and I hope they don't), your voucher might be worthless!

Thanks Tom. Prices aren't bad for 2 weeks on August right now so may be worth the £20 risk!

I understand what you are saying, but I'm willing to take the risk, hopefully within 12-18 months, Covid-19 can be controlled/treated and we can return to some normality.
