Rebooking Voucher T&C's

Hello Fellow Dibbers,

I hope you're all safe and well.

We have 2 rooms booked for the end of July, at NPB for our party of 6. We booked direct with DLP (not the TC site). Room 1 is for DH, DD and myself and family including my Mum are in room 2.

Our balance is due the end of May and although I've been quietly hoping that the holiday will still go ahead, we've been holding off making any further payments. The due date is getting closer and I'm checking the website every day, but DLP have not updated their Covid info since 23/04 and I'm getting a bit concerned about what they are going to be recommending for our dates.

I see that the current advice is that arrivals due up to the end of June can rebook free of charge until early October, but our dates are peak season prices, more inline with Oct half-term and we can't go during term time anyway. So unless they extend the time when we can rebook for to include Oct half-term (which I don't feel is unreasonable seeing as we have booked a peak season break), it's a non-starter for us and we'll be left with no option but to accept vouchers.

This then leads to the next issue...if we do need to cancel, there's a good chance that the party in the second room probably won't be able to come on our rearranged holiday and may end up with vouchers that they can't use.

Has anyone seen the vouchers that DLP are giving out? Are they transferrable between people? I'm the lead guest in room 1, my Mum's name is on room 2.

I'm wondering if there would be an option for us to use both room vouchers on our rebooking of 1 room, then I could give the value of my Mum's back to her in cash, so she doesn't lose any money?

Do any of you have final payments due soon for breaks during the summer holidays? Have you spoken to DLP, had final payment due dates extended etc?
