Probably a really stupid question but...

When there for the food and wine can i take in cutlery? Using the plastic offerings makes eating some of the food nigh on impossible

I don't see a reason why you should not be able to take your own spork into the parks, a knife-like piece of cutlery is almoust sure to be prohibited.

Maybe try something like reuseable travel chopsticks.
They come in their own box or bag and some are even collapsible.

You can’t take knives in. Otherwise yes. I just ordered three stainless steel cutlery sets in carriers off Amazon perfect for food and wine. I’ll just take the knives out. They have a desert spoon, knife, fork, chop sticks, curved straw, straight straw and straw cleaner. A plastic storage box and a little bag as well. About £7. Perfect 👍
