Disneyland 'Grad Nites'

Hi,
We were planning on visiting Disneyland next year in the 1st week of June. I hadn't realised that this is slap bang in the middle of 'Grad Nites'.
Has anyone here on the Dibb been during these times and could maybe shed some light?

I know DCA will close early to non grad night guests. I'm just worried about how busy everything will be during the day.
It wasn't really bothering me that much as I would expect it to be busy anyway, but I've just been googling and stumbled upon a Disney blog full of horror stories about visiting during grad night dates and how it completely ruined people's visits. 😖 This is making me doubt my entire plan now 😖😖

We’ve been twice on grad nights , California adventure is the park that they open for the grads , and stay open after a certain time just for them. We do this park first, and then head over to the other park and stay there. We haven’t had to many issues and didn’t find it packed with grads ( they don’t get up to early), we found leaving early evening also helped, to go eat and avoid the build up when they all seem to come alive lol.

Thanks for the reply 😊
I really don't know what to do lol, part of me thinks we will be fine and just parkhop and leave early to avoid the crowds. But then if I'm just going to worry about it for the entire year between now and then, then maybe we should move to a bit later. Decisions decisions 😂

Homestly get there early , the grads don’t surface that early do california adventure first, hop over to disneyland and then leave around 8 pm for food and you’ll be fine, we’re off again next year in May , oh and grad night !
