Barclays Travel Pack - COVID cover

Hi guys,

Quick question as Barclays wont let me call them right now unless I have a claim.

Does anybody know, if you book a new trip will the Barclays Travel pack covers COVID medical whilst out there?. Appreciate it wont cover cancellation, its the medical cover I'm most interested in.

Sharon

This would be a completely new booking, Im still unsure if that medical clause comes under having a trip already booked (or rescheduled) only. It could be a very expensive mistake if not.

So annoying you cant call to ask the question

I spoke to Barclays the other day and they answered within 5 mins. They would cover for pre booked trips but only if FCO advice lifted. New trips at present a definite Nono for cancellation. They weren't willing to say on cover for Covid health wise on recent trips.

Also with Barclays. That's the case for cancellation (no cover for new trips), but seems to be the case in the FAQs that medical for Covid19 still covered regardless of FCO advice. That's how I read it.
