EU Settlement application

Have any dibbers had problems for this scheme, DH has been here since 1982, worked t 95% of the time, 3 kids, owns his own home,seemingly the evidence that HMRC sent wasnt enough to prove for them so he now has to send 6 bank statements per year for the past 5 years, but after doing this it is now wanting him to send more documents. It is really frustrating, when you speak to an advisor they are always helpful but OMG nothing seems to complete his application.!
