As already mentioned, it's referring to the current winter we are in.

Now, assuming that's still correct, it gives Disney until the 20th March to open the restaurant. That's when the astronomical winter ends.

I wouldn't put a bet on it opening in the next 3 or 4 weeks though.

Oh wow that looks amazing, we go in May, I'd be very tempted to try to go if it opens by then.

I know from watching a vlog the other day there is a media event coming up. I'm wondering if this is partly to do with the new mickey and minnie train ride and/or the space restaurant. I'm looking forward to reading a review !

Odd question - is the restaurant high up?! I know they put you in a lift to give you the sense of being up high but it is physically up high?

I ask because my mum is a bit bonkers with things like this Although Peter Pan's Flight is only a few feet off the ground, she doesn't like the sensation of being up high that it gives you! She also won't go on Spaceship Earth because, even though you can't see out, she know she's high up.

No, the restaurant is not high up. It’s on ground level and no taller than the other buildings around it (Test Track, Mission Space). The “lift” isn’t real and doesn’t really go upwards. It’s simulated.

Here’s a photo of construction on the building:
