Is this even legal
Just back from Morrison's and the guy at the next check-out had an over full trolley of 3 for 2 Easter eggs. He is obviously going to re-sell them at full price.
I'm regretting thinking it'd too early to buy mine yet now! I thought this was illegal? |

How do you know he is planning on re-selling. He could be a teacher and buying for a class, a sports team, anything

Why do you think hes reselling them?!
Some schools give Easter eggs out. Mine get them at Sunday school. Could have been from a charity? Not really sure hes doing anything wrong if he is selling at full price? Only same as buying wholesale and selling at retail price. Or am I missing something?!

I wouldn’t say it’s illegal, but shops will often put a limit on an amount per customer, when they have offers on.
Clearly not in this case though! He may not be selling them on.I actually buy a lot of Easter eggs,so my trolley could look like I may be selling them on,but it wouldn’t be the case. I buy all my staff an Easter egg, then we have a children’s Easter party,so they all get one, then we have a charity raffle,so need eggs for that, then there’s the bingo night, when we also give them away, then there’s family,so I wouldn’t like to guess how many I actually buy each year, but definitely not to sell on. I cannot imagine there is any easter egg quantity purchasing legislation, so yes I would assume it is perfectly legal.

I don't think they are for a school as he had three different types. And certainly more than a class worth, more like a year group. I think I'm cross with myself for not getting my lot as I expect I'll be paying full price now.
