Mobile Rotr - emh

Hi, could someone tell me what happens wrt ROTR on days with EMH? If normal park closing is 9pm but park remains open for EMH, will this ride continue or stop then? Thanks.

We managed a boarding group after much trial and tribulation! We were group 60 so should have been fairly early but it broke down 5 times that day, the last time with us halfway through the ride and it then shut up shop for the day. We were advised to speak to Guest Relations outside the ride. We only had a 1-day ticket which they extended to the next day, gave us a fast pass for ROR and a free use anywhere fast pass which we used on Slinky dog. A good outcome!

At the moment once the boarding groups and backup groups have gone through then the ride is closed sadly. Even if they have finished by 7pm and the park is open until say 11pm.

That's my understanding. Seems a shame that more people could get to experience the ride but there you go!

I think the confusion from the person who first replied to your post has come because you asked about EMH in your post (Extra Morning Hours) when you meant EEH [extra evening hours]. There's no EMH at the moment at HS and if there are some scheduled for the future, the hours may change nearer the time if FPs are still not being given for ROR and they're sticking with boarding groups.

In terms of EEH, there are a certain number of boarding groups and back up boarding groups allocated each day. I think Disney may be looking at how the ride has been operating over the past few days when considering back up boarding groups and so they may increase the number allocated and might take EEH into consideration when doing that but at the moment, if they get through all boarding groups and all back up boarding groups and there are still hours to go before the park closes, the ride still closes unfortunately. No more BGs are issued no standby queue is opened.

EMH does not mean Extra Morning Hours. Disney use EMH to stand for Extra Magic Hours (see link). And there can be evening EMH or morning EMH.
