It was Pornstache with Daya’s baby. She’d let his mum adopt the baby a few seasons ago. I had to google it to double check after I’d watched it!

Just finished the series a couple of days ago and it's absolutely broken me, just keep thinking about these poor characters and the fact there are real people going through this.
Can't decide if Carla or Pennsatucky was the more heartbreaking one, but generally sobbed my way through the series.

Didn't recognise pornstache either, had to google it.

i'm going with karla... at least pennsatucky's death (and passing the GED) spurred taystee into not ending things

karla's ending was just *horrible*

i just finished it. i was expecting it to get bleak for *everyone*, but so glad some of them got nice endings.

btw, i avoided this thread completely because the title had "spoilers" in. it might be worth not doing that in future, and just hide any actual spoilers

 

inside the spoiler tag

- that way you're more likely to get people reading and commenting on the thread during the series rather than avoiding it until its all been watched!

I think Pennsatucky’s was saddest for me because we’d followed her story for so long. I know they both were but Carla’s death was so unnecessary Quite a few people I’ve seen talking about it have gone with the wishful thinking theory that she managed to crawl back and survive though.

Nah I purposely put spoilers in the title to avoid having to hide everything. I knew I’d watch it in a day or two so mainly wanted replies from people that had binged it all or weren’t bothered about spoilers. It also stops people complaining they’ve accidentally seen something. Especially as on “active threads” even when you hide something it shows what’s written inside.

We binged it last week. I’ve loved it from the start although the riot wasn’t my favourite.

Maritza struck me as particularly sad. Just out with her friends one minute and in detention and then gone the next.

I was hoping for a happier ending for Taystee but pleased it wasn’t the sad sad end I was expecting.

And Pennsatucky went from my least favourite character to one of the best.

Loved the final scenes from Ohio. Just a little reminder of everyone.

We finished it last week and we thought it was the best series of the whole lot. I was so upset at the end but I think it was the cast saying goodbye to us all. Just loved it.

I've been a fan of OiTNB since season 1. Really pleased with how they tied things up. Of course, not every character can have a happy ending but the endings we got made sense. I'll be honest, this season even got to this heartless beast (according to my wife ). I might just have had something in my eye a couple of times
