Permission letter?

Hey all, quick question.. I’m taking my brother with us on holiday next week & it’s only just occurred to me that I might need a letter of permission. Although my brothers 22 he’s mentally around 6 yrs old & has autism, global development delay & epilepsy. I’m already his full time carer but would immigration question me taking him?

I already have a letter ready in prep when it comes to my kids as they aren’t allowed to see their dad (we were questioned the first time but not at all on their second trip) but I never thought about my bro possibly needing one till now 🙈

had this with my stepson as he had a different name on his passport. They asked to see the letter and if he was excited to be going to Disney. I think it is just a better than nothing strategy rather than some full proof system.

Agreed, I would take one anyway. I have never been asked for one, but it's not worth the added stress at immigration or check in if you dont have it.

Although I have never been asked for it, my daughter has been quizzed by airline staff on every trip
