Belfast sink

I have a Belfast with a wooden surface, I’ve had it for about 10 years and have oiled it, but it’s totally tatty. I love the Belfast, but I’d go for granite next time, because at least then you have the option of putting wet and hot things on it and it being functional, rather than in my case, it looking nice for a while.

Danish oil, lintfree cloth. Takes a few minutes to apply, it needs to dry so surfaces need to be clear for a day or so.

We use danish ( not often enough) but find it fades with my kitchen cleaner

I don’t use kitchen cleaner, I use chopping boards and wipe the tops with a damp cloth as required.
