The key to BA is release is entirely predictable. At midnight of 355 days they release at least 2 club and 4 economy seats on every flight. If you are willing to be up at midnight and you are quick to book you will get the flights.

I currently have club flights to Seattle, Tampa and Montreal booked for the coming year on the dates I want because I have followed the formula.
Thanks for this tip ba it will may be then.

Whats the total flight time including layover for that, and which class of travel?

Keep an eye out for the MCO LGW flights just in case. It'll only be £30pp to change if they do become available.

The moral of the story is you need to be flexible and patient.
There will always be flights available at some point to/from your destination from one of the UK airports.. you just need to hold your nerve as you can cancel at any time and get all your miles back.

We have flown to Orlando 2016/2017/2020 plus in 2019 to the west coast with miles every time - one was a late booking from Glasgow but it worked for me..

Admittedly booking on the day of release is the best way I have found if you can plan 330 days ahead...

Going forward I am sure once the TC fallout has subsided then the reward flights released will settle back into a pattern.

That's total "in the air" time isn't it, as MCO -> LAX is c5 hours and LAX -> LHR is c 10 hours.

You must be allowing a decent layover though as you'll need to collect your cases and check in again and if anything goes wrong with that first flight you'll be in a bit of trouble (I say that not knowing what happens if you fail to turn up for a miles flight!).

Virgin said we didn’t need to collect cases again as it’s all on one booking. I think we land in lax around 12 noon and flight to lhr is 5pm ish
