In general I would agree about the 6 month club, since membership is not tied to EU membership (in fact there are still some EU countries that need a visa, a source of great friction between the EU and the USA). Of course, longer term it’s possible, and could be used as a bargaining chip by the US in trade negotiations.
Regarding connections via EU airports, it would basically depend on airport layout. In most major EU airports there are sterile transit areas for non-Schengen to non-Schengen connections, but I can’t say that I know all of them. It is possible that even in those, transit visas could be required (as the UK requires today for certain nationalities), but I would view that as pretty unlikely. |

If the Dec 2020 NY trip you refer to is with girlfriends vs daughters your pp need only cover your trip date and you're good to go. ESTAs are individual, 'group' allows one payment for numerous applications.

It is for us at our age these days. Given up on the likes of Longhorn, Carrabba's, Bonefish Grill etc until we're a couple of days in.

I can assure you of one thing dear chap, 3 weeks come Tuesday there'll be no sign of ice for this pair of bamsters, in fact I believe it's around 10 years since we last saw ice, bar in our drinks dahling - man will we pay for that when we can't travel anymore! Divent look forward to that like bonny lad

When I booked out flights this week, the BA guy did say we need 6 months on our passports after our return date. I thought this rule didn't apply anymore...
