Immigration at tampa

We are flying into Tampa in August, could anyone who’s flown into Tampa in August tell me if it takes a long time to get through immigration.
Cheers

Last time I flew into Tampa I was on the interstate in around 30 minutes, very smooth immigration and customs process with very pleasant staff.

It is usually only th BA flight in immigration, as the other few international flights land a few hours later. So its just the BA plane. Those first off will be through in minutes, the last might take 50 mins, but the queue will only be the size of the plane. A large number of people will be waiting for the baggage to arrive and that doesn't take long.

We flew into Tampa last February, we were right at the front of economy and were through in about 15 min, our friends were the last off and took about 30 min. We found flying into Tampa a really good experience and have booked it again for this year

Tampa has always been very quick for us. Would recommend.

We had to queue for over two hours in October at Tampa despite us being the only flight there. However, before we went and since I have never heard of any one else have our experience so I would definitely give it another whirl if there is a decent deal next time.

We flew BA into Tampa in 2016 and were quite near the front until my son threw up in the hallway on the way to immigration and we then ended up being the very last people through (even after flight crew) but still only took around 30 mins, they sent us to the electronic machine and then we saw a human as well. Bonus was all our luggage was waiting for us.

Going again this year but need to remember that the travel sick pills wear off after 6 hours in the air
