Will you have a car? If so there are plenty of communities you can choose from. Personally I like Windsor Hills, it has a lovely pool for kids and there are 2 and 3 bedroom condos, also 3 bedroom townhouses.
There are plenty of resorts such as Sheraton Vistana that have 2 bedrooms.
Do you have a preference where you want to be and wether you want a resort or not?

We really liked the Lake Buenavista Village Resort and Spa.

It was really well located, had ample under cover parking, space, was quiet, had courtesy shuttles, did breakfast at a cost and had a Pirate Ship in the pool!

There was a decent shopping mall just down the road and both a Walmart and a Publix. It was within sight of the Epcot fireworks.

Thanks for the recommendations!

We were thinking of a villa but they were coming out quite expensive so probably leaning more towards a complex type condo/apartment

I know when I looked at condos they were coming out more expensive than a villa if we wanted to be close to Disney , if I Drive is okay then you may find somewhere like a two bedroom unit at the Enclave a little cheaper though.

I can second this one. (LBV Village). We stayed there a few years back and liked it just as much as a villa. Great location and with loads of amenities nearby.

Recommend 2 bedroom townhouses at Encantada and we are staying for the second time in a 1 bedroom at the Point Hotel & Suites in August.
